I absolutely love this board, it is practical, easy to clean and looks very smart in any style kitchen. but... after a few months of use for sandwich making and the occasional cutting of vegetables, I find it has many marks made from the knife which has disappointed me as I always think germs can penetrate in these grooves. They only show when viewed from an angle so donnn't detract from the beauty of the product but I would love to find a self-healing chopping board as I had some years ago

Wanted to like this as its eco credentials seemed good, though relatively expensive at £22. However only used it once as the washer-upper at home immediately complained about how "sharp" and rough the shorter edges were. And they are awful...like its not been finished properly. So I'm afraid I had to take it back (and of course lakeland are one of the best retailers for no quibble refunds...I always keep receipts for things like this) A real pity

Bought this in the expectation it would prove more durable and practical than our wooden chopping boards and because the colour complemented our kitchen worktops. But within weeks it was stained from, it appears, cutting carrots (and we don't overdo carrots). The resultant discolouration has proved impossible to remove despite trying various proprietary products and alternatives. Its still usable but doesn't look good at all
