Bee’s Wrap Reusable Food Wraps for Cheese – Pack of 3
Product number: 26216
A natural, sustainable alternative to single-use plastic packaging, these beeswax-infused Bee’s Wrap Reusable Food Wraps for Cheese are perfect for wrapping home-made or shop-bought artisan cheeses as they allow it to breathe which prevents cheese from ‘sweating’ and helps it last longer than if you kept it wrapped in plastic. And of course, they’ll also wrap other foods like bread, fruit, sandwiches and so on…
Natural and sustainable
Handmade in Vermont from a mixture of organic cotton, beeswax, organic jojoba oil and tree resin, these attractive natural substitutes for planet-polluting single-use plastics can be washed and reused again and again, and then composted at the end of their life.
The beeswax and jojoba oil they’re impregnated with have antibacterial properties that help keep your food fresh and allow the wraps to be reused.
Seal with the heat of your hand
These malleable wraps are easy to use. Just place your food on the wrap, then use the warmth from your hands to easily mould it around whatever you’re wrapping to create a seal that will stay in place as the wrap cools.
Versatile
Wrap up sandwiches and other snacks for taking on picnics. Cover half-used lemons, opened packets of cheese, a half-eaten baguette or loaf of home-made bread. Wrap up fresh herbs, loose vegetables, or cover salad bowls and dishes of leftovers for storing in the fridge –these adaptable wraps can be put to a multitude of uses.
Washable and reusable
Your Bee’s Wraps can be washed in cool water and mild soap, left to air dry and then folded and stored in a drawer until their next use – with care, they should last for around a year.
Top tip from a keen customer: if the waxy surface starts to get a little rough, just pop your Bee’s Wrap in a hot oven (approx. 180°C) on a flat oven tray for 10-20 seconds and the wax will smooth itself out. Leave it to cool and the wrap will be as good as new again.
Compostable
At the end of their life Bee’s Wraps can be put onto your compost heap, where they will break down with everything else.
Please note: Bee’s Wrap Reusable Food Wraps are not suitable for covering raw meat.

I find these really good at keeping cheese dry. I wrap cheese in these and then store it in a plastic cheese box in the fridge.
I bought these as presents. I have them myself, and use them all the time instead of cling film, or foil.
I bought these cheese wraps as I like to re-use covers and they are really great at keeping things in good condition once opened.
I am delighted with this product. It wraps around cheese beautifully and doesn’t take up the room in the fridge that a cheese dish takes up
I really want these to be a decent substitute for clingfilm for a packed lunch, but they’re just not. Sure I expect they’re not going to be as convenient, but having to wash them in cold water is a pain and unless you’re eating very dry and ‘clean’ food, they stain. I’ve used the wraps for sandwiches for just under a week and they’re already stained and fraying at the edges. Given the price and the fact they would need to be replaced regularly, they’re not a viable alternative.
Thanks for the feedback on the bees wax wraps. I'm sorry that you've been disappointed with them but we wanted to give or customers a greener choice where previously this wasn't the case. Depending on the filling certain foods will stain this is just the nature of the product, any frayed edges can be trimmed. If the beeswax has started to crumble/bobble the wrap will need to be placed in a hot oven for around a minute. This will allow the beeswax to melt again and can be redistributed over the sheet by using a pastry brush. OR the sheet can be placed between 2 pieces of baking parchment and use a DRY hot iron.
