Lakeland Egg Slicer

I purchased this Eggcellant egg slicer from the Meadowhall Store (where all the staff are so nice and friendly and the customer service is hard to “beat”). Having purchased it one Fry-day in June, and used it several times a day since I’m sure you can agree it’s had plenty of eggs-ercise and is now Eggs-hausted!I would without a doubt highly recommend this egg slicer, so much so that I’m scared it may get poached by my family. It really is the best in such a crowded field.

I wish I’d heeded the words of the other reviewers. I would ordinarily rate Lakeland products as being really good quality, but this has just broken on the second use (one of the wires has snapped). Hopefully Lakeland will listen and look to improve.

It broke the first time I used it. I am struggling to find a robust egg slicer than lasts more than five minutes and this certainly wasn't robust.

I received it, washed it as directed, sliced the egg which squashed as the wires failed to cut through the boiled egg, and the first wire stretched and pulled out of it's fixture. An awful product which I see failed on the previous reviewer first time. The only other unfortunate thing is, I bought two of them having a good idea that one of them would fail within a short time as did a previous purchase which I bought elsewhere. The only reason I am in this predicament is that the one we bought and have had all our married life broke after 49 years. Lakeland test this product please.Zero rating

Bought this egg cutter used once and wire broke off. Rest of wire raffles outwill not be able to use again
