Our wonderful team of volunteers in our Distribution Centre are working hard to ship a small amount of new orders to our customers. Read More...
To ensure that we’re able to get these orders to you safely, and in line with all Government guidelines and social distancing advice, this means that we currently have to limit the amount of orders we are able to accept each day.
This does mean not all of our customers will be able to access our full website and add products to their basket right now.
We hope to make our products available to more customers when we’re able to do so safely.
Thank you for your continued support.

Beautifully shaped from carefully selected planks of solid oak, this Large Robert Welch Pebble Chopping Board has stylish good looks that will make it the perfect presentation platter for any occasion. Every single board is unique in its grain pattern and colouring, and its natural beauty makes it the ideal backdrop for a Christmas cheeseboard, a Boxing Day buffet or any selection of antipasti, cold cuts and canapés for pasta nights and party nights with friends.
Hand-finished pebble shape
Created with a lovely tactile curve to the underside of the board, the Robert Welch Pebble design ensures that it’s always easy to pick up, and the oak used to create it has been carefully chosen, graded, dried, hand-finished and oiled to make a lasting piece that will be useful and bring you pleasure every time it’s used.
Treated with food-safe oil to help the oak keep its colour and stay hydrated – this lovely chopping board is ideal for presenting cheeses, antipasti and rustic loaves to guests. And it makes a great bread board in your kitchen too.
(The natural anti-bacterial properties of hardwood cutting surfaces have been proven after extensive testing in American university research labs, notably Dean O. Cliver and his team at the Food Research Institute of Wisconsin-Madison University.)
Like all oak cutting boards, the surface of this pebble-shaped board resists scratches with ease but is kind to knife blades, so your carefully honed sharp edges, won’t be dulled or damaged when you cut into cheeses, breads and other tasty morsels.
About Robert Welch
Every Robert Welch product is designed in the Old Silk Mill at Chipping Campden as they have been since Robert founded the company in the 1950s. Managed by his children today, the company remains dedicated to creating beautiful, functional and timeless products. Their range features everything from kitchen knives to paper roll holders, combining the company’s central principles of timeless, elegant design and high functionality to make lovely items that are sure to bring a stylish vibe to your home, and will perform to a high-standard for years to come.
Famously strong, heavy and durable, oak (or Quercus, to give it its Latin name) is revered in British culture because of its associations with longevity, steadfastness and toughness. A deciduous hardwood, it is naturally quite pale in colour with a prominent grain and, although it’s renowned for construction in houses and boat-building, its anti-fungal properties make it ideal for use in our kitchens and dining rooms.
Please note: it’s recommended that wooden boards should be stacked with the grain running horizontally, especially when drying, so that any residual damp cannot ‘track’ up the grain and cause expansion which may eventually encourage the board to split.
Approx. 30 x 44 x 2cm. 1.4kg.
