As well as being a bit of fun, our bag for life is strong and durable, allowing you to carry heavier items without the worry of the handles breaking or the dreaded and embarrassing incident of glass items falling through the bottom of the bag and smashing on the car park floor – it’s happened to us all at some point! There’s also no need to worry if it suffers any little marks or stains as the material can be wiped clean with a cloth.
Bags for life are a great way to save both money and the environment, reducing plastic waste and the need to buy new bags every time you nip to the shops. Carrying plastic bags can also be painful on the hands when they stretch and dig in, so, with your comfort in mind, we made our tote bag with two sets of flat, wide cotton handles in different lengths so you can choose to either carry your shopping over your shoulder or in your hands.

Absolutely fantastic bag! Love it! Don't know what the other review is all about? Great size, has small and large handles. Very sturdy and well made. Can see this lasting ages. I've had it 4 months now and I love taking it everywhere with me. Even bought them as gift for people !
I allowed myself to be put off this bag after reading a negative review decided to chance the purchase anyway and glad that I did a lovely roomy shopper and very light when empty No smell at all love it
I have had this bag quite some time now so is ripped a little on the inside but I don't care. This bag holds SO much, it's like a Mary Poppins bag and it doesn't feel heavy when you walk around with it and i do a lot of walking. I tell everyone, it's like a Mary Poppins bag because it holds SO much. I want to get another before you stop producing these.
This bag holds so much. It has short handles as well as long shoulder handles, really needed when you've filled it full. I have had one of these bags since May 2019 and it's lasting so well. Haven't been to a Lakeland store since, but today I did and now have another bag for all those new purchases I made. There is nothing like being in the actual shop, on-line with Lakeland has been really good but not the same as browsing those shelves, with a good excuse to purchase another big bag!
These bags are wonderful.......well made....dual length handles.....sturdy and made from a natural product. Very roomy too.
