Smart Microfiber System Beechwood Handle Washing-Up Brush

I recently bought this beech-handled washing-up brush which I absolutely love - and more importantly, so does my husband! In fact it was his comments on it that made me decide to write a review. The plastic handled brush we've had for some time was an awkward shape, so I decided to try model 26070. Perfect! It even looks good - and such an amazing price. It reminds me of brushes I used when I first got married (53 years ago) before plastic took over. Something so mundane, small and simple, yet I just had to write and tell you how pleased I am with it.

I love this for scrubbing the sink trainers and easy to keep clean

Bought 2 weeks at Milton Keynes and used regularly admittedly sometimes vigorously on soiled pans. The plastic head started to unscrew and become loose and came away from the handle leaving a very sharp exposed screw. The inside the handle had become soft so that the screw would not hold the head on. On returning it to the store they were helpful by giving me details of where to register a review but were otherwise indifferent saying 'it wasn't one of theirs' (meaning not their own product) and so could do little about it. Not a very safe product or satisfactory outcome. Will not buy another.
