Beautifully crafted in Italy from beechwood and anodised aluminium, its sleek design is testament to the Italian passion for the ‘bella figura’, but it’s far from being a case of form over function.

Easy to set up and move

Both the upper and lower racks fold out and lock into place in a single smooth action – simply pull to open out, then push to fold closed again – and the lightweight materials make this capacious airer easy to manoeuvre into position too.

Versatile drying space

With 18 aluminium bars on the top rack and 12 on the bottom rack, there’s plenty of space to air a full laundry load, and the clever design lets you ‘zone’ your washing so everything has the space it needs to dry quickly. Hang tops over the bars in the middle of the upper rack; take advantage of the longer drop on the outer bars to dry leggings and trousers; and drape smalls and socks over the raked bars on the lower rack. The large flat surface of the top rack lends itself perfectly to large items like sheets and duvet covers, and is also ideal for laying woollens and delicates flat.

Easy to store

When its work is done, it folds down to just 12.5cm deep, making it incredibly easy to store – just rest against a wall or slot into a narrow gap.
