Vacuums, cleans and dries
Dropped a raw egg or spilled some cereal on your kitchen floor? Don’t worry, the CrossWave Advanced will clean it right up and leave your floor dry in seconds. Want to give your rugs a bit of TLC? No problem. Just a squeeze of the trigger will inject the multi-surface formula right into the fibres and the rotating brush will dislodge and remove the dirt to leave rugs and carpets clean and refreshed. And you can hoover up crumbs without washing the floor if you wish.
Powerful, one-step multi-surface cleaning
Ideal for all sealed hard floors, even uneven ones and floors with deep grout lines, CrossWave Advanced powers through dirt, debris and sticky spills and messes for a thorough streak-free clean. Its powerful suction vacuums up dirt, dust and debris, while the fast-spinning multi-surface brush roll gently but effectively scrubs, washes and dries hard floors and cleans and refreshes carpets, giving a deep-down clean you’ll really notice. And if you want to clean both hard floors and carpet or rugs in one session, it can do that too – just use the digital fingertip controls to switch from one setting to the other.
Removable dual-action brush roll
Spinning at an impressive 3,000 rpm (depending on the surface), the dual-action brush roll has soft microfibre bristles for cleaning and a row of harder bristles for dislodging dirt. The roll is easy to remove if you want to give it a wash or swap it for the Area Rug Brush Roll, which has two rows of hard bristles specifically designed to remove stubborn dirt from carpet fibres.
Cleans right into tricky corners
The CrossWave Advanced has a highly manoeuvrable, low-profile pivoting head to help it glide under furniture, while the design of the brush-roll housing is an improvement on earlier models, giving superior edge-to-edge cleaning to get right into corners and up to skirting boards. And the generous 7.5m flex means you can cover a lot of ground before you need to switch plug sockets.
Two tank technology
Separate water tanks ensure that clean and dirty water are kept apart. And the dirty water tank now has a removable filter which separates solid waste from liquid to make disposal simple, quick and hygienic.
Easy to clean
A large filling spout on the included storage tray makes cleaning your brush roll easier than ever. Simply fill the tray with water or cleaning solution, switch on and the CrossWave Advanced backwards to let the brush spin for 10-15 seconds. The tray can also be used to store your machine and up to two brush rolls.

We looked askance at all the bits and pieces that came with this, but once we'd worked it out and used it, it's absolutely great! I have quarry tiles in my kitchen and sometimes they get quite stained. The crosswave dealt with them with no problem at all. Delighted with it. MW.
I love this machine, the whole of my downstairs is hard floors, sick of vacuuming and then going around again to wash my floors I decided to invest in the CrossWave and I’ve never looked back. It vacuums hard floors better than my dyeing and leaves them shiny clean. Also freshening my hall runner with no effort. Simply fantastic.
Considered it to be quite expensive, but reviews were good. I am delighted with the product. It does the work so simply and efficiently. I hate mopping and getting floors really wet, but the Crosswave uses very little fluid and immediately picks up the dirty water rather than just spreading the mess around. I've always used it with the proper Bissell fluid. If there are stubborn marks on the floor, I just leave the brush spinning on it for a couple of seconds and usually it is removed. The cleaning of the unit is also quite simple. Parts easily dismantle and a quick rinse cleans them.
Easy to use, cleaning reasonable but it doesn't go right up to the edges as it suggests in the video that goes with this item. Used on quarry tiles, laminate flooring and also rugs, reasonable results on all. Unfortunately it would appear now that Bissell are not producing the crosswave brushes any longer and, as I think this might be the first thing on the cleaner to wear out, it may well reduce the life of the machine.
Doesn't clean right to the edge: leaves about 1 inch of floor unwashed at the side and the front. Doesn’t do under the sofa or tables: if you tilt the handle towards the ground the head lifts off the floor. Doesn’t lift marks off the floor &, because the head is so wide, it doesn’t fit into small spaces. I have deep grout lines which the brush doesn’t clean into: just snags, goes into carpet mode, then won’t reach the tiles or stops spinning completely. Doesn't do anything I spent £280 on it for so I still spend most of my time on my knees cleaning what it can't do with a microfibre cloth!
