Hills Everyday Airers
-
Unique flat design – Unlike most rotary airers Hills’ versions have their washing lines arranged on one level just above head height, so every item of washing has the same ground clearance and you never have to stoop to peg out items on the inner lines.
- Easy to put up – Just push the base of the arms upwards until the latch engages.
- Height-adjustable with hoist function – For days when you’re hanging out extra-long bath sheets or king-size bedlinen, the lines can be raised by as much as 32cm (over a foot!) with just a few turns of the winding handle.
- 3.5mm polycore PVC washing line – Renowned as the strongest available in Australia, the six rows of UV-resistant washing line can be easily re-tensioned if you find that it stretches at all over time – no tools are needed – and the diagrammatic instructions in the manual are simple to follow.
- Tie closure – The short strand of ‘leftover’ line that hangs in the centre has a ‘lock’ feature at the end so it can be wrapped around the folded lines when they’re not in use.
- Wind-brake locking clip – For loading and unloading the lines on a windy day, the blue locking clip can be deployed to keep the lines from rotating too freely while you’re clipping and unclipping your clothes pegs.
- Strongly-made weatherproof frame – Manufactured from hi-tensile steel, the metal pole and arms are galvanized and then powder-coated in pine-needle green to give them a rugged and durable finish that will survive all sorts of weather.
- UV-stabilised plastics – Made to withstand the rays of the strong Australian sun, the plastic components won’t go brittle after time spent out in the open air.
- Ground socket included – Enabling you to concrete the airer firmly into the ground, the ground socket comes complete with 3 spacers so you can adjust the base height of the washing lines by as much as 15cm if you and your family are tall.
- Easy to pack away – If you need your garden space clear for entertaining, or you want to store your rotary airer for the winter months, the folded airer can be lifted out of its socket with ease and there’s a sturdy cap to cover and protect the hole – very sensible as it means the hole can’t fill up with dust and dirt, and small toys or mini beasts can’t fall in or take up residence.
Owner’s manual included.
Please note: when deciding where to place your airer, Hills recommend allowing for an extra metre of turning circle to ensure laundry doesn’t brush against fences, buildings or shrubbery.
10-year manufacturer’s guarantee} – lines guaranteed for one year.
