Lakeland Orange Oil Wood Furniture Polish 500ml – Revives & Renews Wooden Furniture

Product number: 25871

Giving your much-loved wooden furniture a new lease of life, our Orange Oil Wood Polish cleans, polishes and renews wood surfaces, penetrating the grain to replace lost natural oils, protect them from drying out and bring them back to their glorious best.

There’s no end to the surfaces around your home that can be replenished with this rich, nourishing oil; your inherited kitchen dresser that’s been faded by the sun; that solid chest of drawers that’s looking a little care-worn; or your coffee table that’s seen a lot of action and been left looking a tiny bit the worse for wear – all will be left with a deep glow if treated to a little TLC and a dab of this reviving oil. It’s fab for wooden skirting boards, doors and frames too – just pour a little of the pure, orange-scented oil onto a clean, dry cloth and gently polish to remove dirt, marks and stains and leave behind a beautiful shine with a lasting orange fragrance.

A solvent-free formula, it’s suitable for use indoors and out, so it’s just the thing to give your garden furniture a once-over after a winter spent in the shed. Not suitable for French-polished surfaces.

"Brought my Furniture Back to Life."

star star star star star

I have reclaimed wooden furniture - a TV unit, sideboard and large coffee table. Although I regularly polish it, it looked dry and dull. I purchased this Orange Oil wood polish and could see how it seeped into the thirsty wood. I then left it a couple of minutes and buffed it up with a clean, dry cloth. It has left a lovely sheen and I have hardly used any. It goes a long way. I will use this now every so often to keep the furniture looking its best. There was an orange smell for a couple of hours afterwards but it wasn't unpleasant. I am very happy I bought this and would recommend it.

"Brilliant polish"

I know a few people who have had great results with this and one of them bought me a tiny bit to try! I tried it on a mahogany table and glass cabinet, the results are outstanding. I do not mind the smell one bit - in fact I like it and it has done an amazing job on both items. You only need a tiny bit to get a great result, I found if you put too much of the polish on a cloth it leaves a residue. My cabinet and table look like new. Delighted.

"High hopes but disappointed"

This was reviewed on a television programme, so i bought it as I love the smell of orange. Initially a nice smell (although faint) but now the next day, the orange scent has gone and an industrial engine type smell is strong! Very disappointed.

"Awful smell"

Judging by reviews here and on Amazon, I can only guess there are actually two different versions of this product out there. Unfortunately the one I've got (the one that contains d-limonene) has a very faint smell of orange when you open the bottle and a very strong smell of machine/petrochemical oil when you actually apply the product. I used this on oak kitchen cabinets and my kitchen still stinks of machine oil two days later, so I think describing this product as "natural" is rather misleading. A total waste of my money as I can't see myself using this indoors for anything.
