Vintage Floral Ironing Board

This is a good product. Stable, solid board, with good height, width and length. However it is not great, which is frustrating as it could have been. There are 3 problems. 1. sponge under the cover is not attached to cover so it rides up when ironing large items like sheets 2. the flex holder, which is a good idea, has jumped out of its socket and I cannot re-fix it 3. This is a result of #2. The iron rest at the end of the board is smaller than the board itself and leaves a small gap between it and the board. This is the perfect size to catch and jam the flex when you are ironing.

Although I was initially very impressed with this item, the flex holder has consistently come out of it's holder and basically, it's not fit for purpose. Otherwise, the ironing board itself is good quality and I particularly like the extra long length of the board, which makes ironing much quicker.

Great ironing board, good and strong and ready to use

I am delighted with this ironing board. It is well made and sturdy and has a wide range of heights. I hate ironing, but this board does at least make it tolerable. I particularly like the metal iron rest at the side which is at an angle which makes the iron safe plus you can fill the water reservoir more easily. I haven’t tried the strip which keeps the wire of the iron in check yet, but I will try that soon. My only negative is how the board was packed. The wrapping was broken at the top. However the board was undamaged and as I say I am delighted with it.
