Stays put and am surprised that fairly soft underfoot. Like the appearance and the pattern doesn't show every speck and spill. I haven't had to wash yet so cannot comment on how well it fares. I am using mine in the kitchen but will buy another for my hallway.

The appeal of this purchase was that it is washable and non-slip, it has already been washed twice, unfortunately due to the heavy rubber backing it does not spin off properly in the washing machine, first time I had a flood on the floor while drying it on my airer, the second time I had to spin it off 4 times, once on the airer it took 3 days to dry properly. The second problem I have is that the rubber edging has split in several places making it look quite shabby. All in all I would say this product is not fit for the job it is intended for and certainly not worth the £62.99 I paid for it.
