The ventilated lid holds a circular carbon filter that absorbs odours for up to 3 months.
Packs of Spare Filters are available in store and online and there are compostable liners available too.

Very pleased with the product which I bought to replace the white crockery bin I've had for ages but the lid got broken. The new Compost Bin feels more robust being made of metal so it shouldn't easily break and the lid is tight fitting which is a bonus. Large capacity and smart in appearance and easy to keep clean. Overall a very good buy.
My bin arrived today well packaged. 100% satisfied plenty big enough well fitting lid and looks lovely in my kitchen.
I love my new compost bin, although it is very small it is perfect as by the time it is full and emptied there is no smell in the kitchen like there used to be with a larger bin. The colour compliments our kitchen and it’s sturdy feel makes me know it will last. Great product
looks great next to drainer, filter works well absorbing smells, light weight and easy to carry to outside compost bin.
I love this little bin. Much stronger than the thin plastic one provided by the council. The bags i have are a bit too big but I put a large rubber band around the top of the bag on the outside of the bin and this works really well.
