2 Packmate Jumbo Volume Vacuum Bags

Bought a pack of the jumbo bags to store my winter duvet, assuming they'd be better quality than the ones I bought from Amazon which stopped working effectively after one use. Unfortunately these are no better, the valve just doesn't work so I have an enormous inflated bag in the airing cupboard, which is rather the opposite of what I had hoped for. Waste of money, and bad for the environment if I have to just keep repurchasing.

I choose to buy from Lakeland because of its excellent customer service. This is essential when buying Packmate bags. Previously Packmate bags had a lifespan of 1-2 years before the valves stopped working. Finally, the valves work well, but the seals (on 5 packs x2) were defective. They did not press together correctly (i.e they let in air). The bags are not for for purpose and, clearly, there is no quality control by the Chinese manufacturer. The importer does not respond to messages. However, Lakeland not only replaced the bags but personally checked the seals to ensure all were working.

Just what I expected, so easy to use and just what I wanted

Simple to use, fold everything up pop it in the bag and put your vacuum on the valve

I bought these bags last year (July) and they worked great for storing my garden cushions. However, when I used them again for winter duvets this year, the vacuum seal worked fine at first but over they next few days the bags gradually re-inflated. I have another 2 of these bought a couple of years ago which again only worked for one use. Expensive for single use!
