All the airers in the Dry:Soon Standard and Dry:Soon Deluxe ranges have adjustable shelves for use in tight spaces and fold pretty slim for storage but this Mini Deluxe 2-Tier model goes a step further. If you thought you had no room for one of these popular electric clothes dryers then think again.
This slimline heated airer is about 80% of the width of our Deluxe 2-Tier one to take up a bit less of your living space, and has a special strong over-door hook so that you can store it on the back of a door and forget all about it between laundry days.
With all the features of the other Deluxe models and allowing you to dry your washing quickly at any time for only 4p an hour, this slimline variant still has a generous 10m of drying space and can handle up to 8kg of wet laundry. In addition the big hook can also be used as an ironing hook when the airer is out and about and can accommodate 6 clothes hangers as you work through your pile of dry washing.
Economical
Costing just a few pence per hour to run, airing is kinder to your clothes than tumble drying. A control panel at the top makes switching on and off easy, while a simple timer function can be set to switch your airer on and off up to 12 hours in advance.
Versatile
With an open-sided shelf design, it’s really easy to fill and has over 10 metres of drying space on its extra-small footprint. It can hold up to 8kg of wet washing and the shelves can be positioned to suit your load – for smaller loads and confined spaces just fold out the shelves on one side, or use only the top ones when you have towels or longer items to dry.
Convenient
Made from robust yet lightweight aluminium, with side supports to keep it stable, it’s easy to move around and store. Folding almost flat when not in use, it also has a carry handle, a cord and plug tidy and built-in clips to hold it securely closed.

This has definitely helped dry our clothing on wet and cold dries. What used to take days now takes hours. I love the fact it folds down and can be hung up at the back of the utility room door out of the way.
Easy to put up from the box, I can however see a minor niggle, if I face the switch and timer towards me, the cable only just about reaches the wall socket, so a slightly longer cable would be even better. The cover is a must have I think, definitely keeps the warmth contained & onto the clothes in my freezing cold conservatory. It will get a lot of use.Love the timer option.

I bought this item and cover as I live in a small flat and decided I didn't want another winter of wet clothes drying in the bathroom. I'm a little disappointed with its drying power. After setting the timer for 8 hours for cotton items, I was disappointed to find the clothes were not dry. Guess I must be doing something wrong, as all the reviews for the other models are good. PROS, it is compact, folds away hangs on back of a door. Its clean and silent, its easy to set the timer. CONS is that fact that items are not completely dry after 8 hours, and badly creased where resting on heat rod
We're sorry to hear of your disappointment. Although the airer doesn't work as quickly as a tumble dryer, we'd recommend using a higher spin cycle for heavier clothes and layering the clothes over the rails rather than through them. The airer is a much gentler heat which whilst protecting the fibres of your clothes and be cost effective, can take a little longer to dry on heavier items. This may not suit your needs for a speedy drying solution.We hope you've managed to source a suitable alternative.
Bought this earlier in the year and very disappointed. Takes much longer than I expected for clothes on the top level to dry, and those on the lower level do not dry at all except where they are in contact with the dryer. I've returned to using a standard airer, which I've found is almost as quick and obviously doesn't need to be plugged in.
