SinkTastic Plughole Strainer & Stopper

Given that Lakeland is one of my favourite shops, I'm loath to give one of their products a bad review. However, unless I was doing some thing wrong, I found the strainer didn't work with just a small amount of water in the sink. It needed quite a volume to get enough pressure to seal the plug hole. The inner strainer was also very fiddly to use. The strainer claims to have an 'antibacterial lemon scent', which to my nose was more of an unpleasant plastic smell, albeit faint. This item was returned.

I tried and retried to make this sink stopper work. No amount of water prevented it from leaking. I phoned head office to register my dissatisfaction but the team member was uninterested. I asked her to listen to the water running out of the sink, she could hear it. I returned it to the store and purchased a different type but still with no success. Three family members have tested them so I am not alone. So disappointing. Jo

Bought this product yesterday, and it is useless. Like the previous reviewers I have kept trying to discover how to prevent the water from draining away, but it is proving impossible. Why do you not have a 'Nil' category please? This product would sadly warrant it, as it doesn't deserve a '1' star. Am particularly angry as I bought it in another town, and now face a further journey back to obtain a refund (no stores nearer to where I live) and further outlay on petrol costs.
