Product number: 25131
The Fruit Fly Trap from Zero In® kills fruit flies without using hazardous chemicals. The product is hygienic and can be safely used near fruit, vegetables and open wine bottles to provide up to 30 days of continuous and discrete control. Fruit flies are drawn down into the non-toxic trap solution, where there is no escape. Just pour the solution provided into the trap and place in the worst affected area. For severe infestations, or protection of a large area, use more than one trap.

So good. I was plagued by fruit flies and since using this, I have none. I'm just about to oder another.
During the hot spell, fruit flies have been rampant. They have been swarming everywhere, but no longer! They are totally fooled by this neat little gadget & have been all but eliminated in just a few days.
This is a really great item to have in a kitchen during summer time. Small and efficient.
I bought this to use on our boat which we keep in NL. I admit that I purchased this product, wondering if it might be a case of 'snake oil' that would not work. But it did work and I'm going to purchase a couple more for when we return to the boat later this summer. It took about 1 day for the first fruit flies to work their way into the trap so a little patience might be required. This little gizmo just kept working, slowly but surely enticing the flies into it. It's a shame the trap is not reusable and that's the only reason I won't be giving this product 5 stars.
I've lost track of the number of different ways I've tried to get rid of these little pests: bought traps, home made ones, changing storage habits, cleaning drains, sprays. You name it I've done it now finally I've found two traps the work. The other larger one, a version of the triangular moth trap isn't presently sold here. This one is the pretty, discreet one for putting by the fruit bowl etc. Its small and decorative (the other is more 'industrial') and boy does it attract the fruit flys. I'm hoping with frequent use I'll get rid of them for once. The only bug bear is they aren't reusable.
