Prevent mould, musty smells and other problems associated with damp anywhere in your home by optimising air humidity using this compact desiccant dehumidifier from Meaco. Lightweight and easy to move around, it extracts up to 8 litres a day at any temperature between 1 and 37°C and is both quiet and economical to run.

Especially good for allergy sufferers, its anti-bacterial silver-nano filter and ioniser mean that the air it expels is not only drier but also cleaner. Designed for use throughout the home and effective even in unheated, unventilated spaces – including conservatories and garages – air is warmed as it dries and there’s even a laundry setting for when you’re drying washing indoors.

Its intelligent energy-saving controls mean that, rather than running continuously, once the target humidity level has been reached, the dehumidifier will switch off to conserve power then reactivate for 5 minutes every half hour to check the level then either switch off again for another half hour or run until the target has been re-achieved.

With 3 fan speeds and the option to select a quiet fan speed regardless of relative humidity, useful during the night, and an 8-hour timer, it automatically switches off when the 2 litre tank is full, or you can fit the external hose for continuous drainage into a sink.
