Designed especially for conventional steam irons and much lighter than most boards, Leifheit’s latest Airboard Ironing Board is perfect for quickly ironing your shirt for work, or tackling larger loads when you have a bit more time. Lightweight, simple to put up, and easy to store, it certainly ticks all the boxes you could want from an ironing board.

With a lightweight, heat-proof frame, this ironing board was designed to be easy to put up and lift, to carry around the house to where it is needed. With a particular focus on conventional steam irons, the thermos-reflect cover reflects the heat and steam from the iron rather than letting it escape, meaning you’re effectively ironing your laundry from above and below, helping you get it all done more quickly.

Suitable for anyone, this ironing board is height adjustable, and even has a self-adjusting under frame to keep it sturdy on uneven floors. When you’ve finished ironing, the logs lock tightly for easy and convenient storage until it is called into action again.

"Lightweight board"

This is unbelievably light, yet very sturdy, lots of options for different heights too. Excellent product

"Best ironing board ever!"

For years I have struggled with a heavy ironing board that wobbled precariously because it was wobbly and so was the floor. Finally it fell apart - best thing that could have happened because I bought this super light one! My ironing life has been transformed! Easy to lift, unfold and better still it doesn’t jiggle about with an uneven floor. Also, added bonus, it fits into the cupboard more easily. Very pleased all round - and thanks to other reviews I am glad I chose this one.

"Good quality ironing board"

A good quality ironing board with a good range of heights available. Nice firm but soft ironing surface and large enough to take a king size duvet just folded in half. No more having to keep moving large items around. It would have been good to have in the details the overall height of the ironing board when folded as I have found it will not fit in the cupboard unless I remove a shelf - a job still to be done. However very pleased with my purchase although it arrived in a badly damaged box.

I received the ironing board and have enjoyed using it both for ironing and for wrapping presents for friends and family. It doesn't wobble like my old ironing board and I would certainly recommend this item.
