Short Flexible Cappuccino Plastic Laundry Washing Basket 55L

I have two of these now, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They do exactly what they say on the tin and are so much easier to manoeuvre than rigid baskets. You will never bang a shin on one of these :) I rarely rave about household good, but these really have proven to be a terrific find.

I bought two of these to cope with our never-ending laundry. Really wish I had bought them sooner! I like their flexibility which means you can carry them in one hand, great for going up and down stairs when you have baby gates to open. Also find myself using them for clearing up toys and clutter!

I received two of these laundry baskets about three weeks ago but was disappointed when one of the handles broke after two weeks. Lakeland quickly replaced the faulty basket - many thanks Lakeland! The baskets are so much better than my previous solid ones. They take up less space and bruised shins are a thing of the past. However, reading previous reviews, I do wonder whether the handles could be made stronger and could also be a little more comfortable - they do tend to cut into my hands when carrying large loads of wet washing.

I was a little dubious about buying this basket based on some other reviews but I must say I am very pleased with it. It holds about 2 dirty washing loads and is very easy to carry with the flexibility of the product. I appreciate some other comments made about the handles in that they could be a bit stronger and are a little rough on the hands when carrying but as I don't have to carry it far it hasn't proved an issue so far. I would be reluctant to carry a very heavy wet load of washing though - just in case! It does the job and stores quite well due its flexibility too.

I originally bought one of these very handy baskets about four years ago and the handles on that broke after about six months. Lakeland very kindly replaced this with a new one which lasted about a year. This eventually broke as well so I bought yet another one in cappuccino. This has now broken on the handle and I think it is time to give up on it. Our baskets have never been taken outside, been used with wet clothes or overloaded (just used for carrying dry, laundered clothes upstairs).
