Glove Poppit Washing Up Gloves Holder Stand

Product number: 24985

The ideal solution to drying out your washing up gloves before they’re next needed, Glove Poppit is an innovative, compact stand for your washing up gloves, helping them dry out and leave them crisp and dry for when you next come to do the dishes.

Nobody likes the clammy, cold embrace of damp washing-up gloves, but how do you dry them out? If you’re anything like us, you drape them over the mixer tap or the edge of the sink where they teeter precariously, ready to fall in and get wet all over again, usually right before you need to use them. And that’s the problem Glove Poppit’s inventors, Graham and Helen, set out to solve.

With their tiny Aberdeen kitchen in mind, they got some wood from their shed, turned their living room table into a studio and came up with this simple, space-saving way to store and dry out gloves. Having tested out their initial design on family and friends and gone through many wooden and acrylic versions, they approached us to see what we thought of their idea. We loved it – and we think you will too.

And Glove Poppit isn’t just for the kitchen: you can use it to dry and store gloves anywhere you use them – in the bathroom, garden shed, workshop or garage – and it can also be used to dry out plastic bottles or bags too. Made from wipe-clean plastic, it’s also really easy to keep looking its best.

"So handy!"

I bought my Glove Poppet last month and I can honestly day I love it! We had no trouble putting it together, it came flat packed and the three simple parts clipped together with the nifty foldable middle section. I use it for everything - plastic bags, containers, even cloths. I've just ordered another for my husband to use in the workshop!

"Handy Helper"

I bought the glove poppit about a month ago and I love it. My 12 year old assembled it for me "look Mum, I didn't even need the instructions!" I hate when marigolds get all smelly inside and this is the perfect answer as you can rinse them out then let them drip dry and they are good as new for next time. Also useful for gardening gloves and action man trousers!

"Useful little product"

Bought this to air my cycling gloves and it works really well - turns out it actually slots quite nicely on top of my radiator. Have used it to dry my water bottles too. Would recommend.

"Very useful product"

Bought this in York last week to dry gloves/freezer bags. Had no trouble assembling it and we have found it stable in use (have just read previous comments). But it has now been claimed by my husband as a perfect stand for drying the bladder out of his Camelbak (a cycling water carrier) as it keeps the sides apart whilst they dry. It also allows water bottles to drain without having to balance them on the draining board. Going to have a family competition to find more uses.

"Brilliant idea."

I love it! - We got it in Inverness and the sales assistant said they'd been very popular. Easy to assemble, no more damp gloves draped wherever and it doesn't take up much space on the windowsill or worktop. I think I'll get one for upstairs cleaning gloves and another for the utility room. Father's Day (and Granda's) is sorted - useful, easy price and easy to post.
