simplehuman Rechargeable Sensor Pump Soap Dispenser 5 "Ideal for those with limited dexterity" lucas 11 July 2016 Chose this for my disabled son's bathroom, as he is unable to coordinate 2 hands well, doesn't have much strength, and cannot rotate either hand flat, palm up. With this, he doesn't need to try & twist his wrists, & doesn't knock the dispenser to the floor while trying to press a pump. Yes, it's expensive - no getting away from that. However it hasn't needed a second charge yet (despite being used approx 20 times a day for 4 months), & you can vary how much soap is dispensed with each squirt, reducing waste. Haven't splashed out on brand refills, but works fine with usual supermarket brand.

Shame for the price you'd think the product would last. A note from the team You could try cleaning the sensor, replacing the batteries, cleaning the contacts on the battery dispenser and filling with the soap refill, ref 23769.
