When dusk falls, this neat, little plug-in LED nightlight casts a gentle amber glow till dawn arrives whilst an in-built motion sensor means that the light gets brighter when you approach it, making it perfect for the top of the stairs or poorly lit hallways.
There are two settings which can be easily selected using the switch on the reverse of the plug: the AUTO setting will automatically switch the nightlight on between dusk and dawn at its lowest light setting with the motion sensor enabled; the ON setting leaves the nightlight constantly on at its brightest light setting.

I bought this for the hall so I can see wher I am going if I get up during the night. Soft glow which senses motion and the light illuminates the area making it safe to see. Highly recommended
I bought this nightlight, last Christmas for my friend who is in her eighties. she has been thrilled to bits with it as she has put it at the top of her stairs and feels she can safely go to the bathroom at night and it safely lights her way. Unfortunately it has just stopped. I wondered how long these are supposed to last? I have bought some cheap nightlights for us and these have been working for a lot longer than just under a year!! I was going to buy her a couple more this Christmas but not sure if its worth the money.
