Illuminating Deluxe Travel Mirror

I saw this mirror whilst shopping in your Chester store and thought it was just what I needed for travel. I wish I'd read the reviews beforehand as the batteries are proving hard to find. I shall now have to search the internet and order them! It's ridiculous to sell an item and not the batteries. I love Lakeland products but this is very disappointing! I would give this 1 star but gave it 2 only because I like the mirror and will use it with or without the batteries.

I bought this mirror as going camping and needed a portable mirror and the addition of illumination seemed perfect. When it arrived I realised the batteries required are specialist and you cannot buy them from High Street or DIY shops and are more expensive. I eventually found them online. I have now put the batteries in and feel this product is overpriced. It is very difficult to know where to look as the mirror is split into different sections and makes it awkward. The side sections are surplus to requirements . There should be a note on the description this requires specialist batteries.

Wish I'd read the review before I bought as I completely agree with all that has been said! If you sell a product your research team should check that the batteries for an item are easily available on the high street or you should stock them!

Bought this as a present to find upon wrapping Xmas eve morning it required batteries which @ £2.00 each make it an expensive mirror for what it is. Wish id read reviews before purchasing or at least been advised in store by staff that it required the batteries only small print on packaging
