This is a replacement duster for one I bought a few months ago, which was defective. The replacement (very efficiently done by Lakeland) is very good - a quick flick over surfaces and the dust has gone. It dusts well, picks up all the dust without effort and the extendable handle is good for those cobwebs near the ceiling. I haven't washed it as yet, so cannot comment about that.

Really lifts and hold dust, no sharp bits on the end, washes well. But the fibres are in loops which do catch on rough edges (e.g. joins in curtain poles) and delicate items could be pulled off a shelf.

I bought this to clean a tall thin vase. No sharp edges. I wet the duster to clean the vase and it has dried and fluffed up again. I would tend to agree that it could catch but it worked for what I needed.

Bought this less than 6 months ago, rarely used and only handwashed once but the fibres of the sleeve are pulling away from the fabric in a large area near the base. Easy to use and works well, maybe I got a dodgy one?
