The ridges on one side have been cleverly designed to fit between each bar to scrub five at once from all sides, and the scourers have an anti scratch, woven silver coating to remove baked-on grime, while the tough pad on the flat side is great for tackling stubborn grease stains.

After soaking the grill rack for a short while in some good quality washing-up liquid, this sponge is great at removing tough burnt on black bits. The grooves in the sponge make the job a lot quicker and easier. The flat scouring side is also very versatile. After use, give the sponge a good soapy wash, thorough rinse and air-dry, and it will last you ages. Highly recommend.
These scourers are useless. Far too bulky and difficult to handle. The metallic side has hardly any 'roughness'. Impossible to get into corners/edges of racks. Waste of money.
