Kitty Cat Washing Line Peg Bag & Carry Strap

I've had a Lakeland peg bag for years and decided it was time to update the old one. Other than the cute cat design though this bag is disappointing, it's way too small, there is only enough for a small amount of pegs, way too few for the amount of washing I have to hang out! Also the fabric feels really thin, I don't think it will last as long as my old one. I've had to put half of my pegs in another holder and think I will be shopping around for another bag soon.

This cat peg bag is super cute and I was sold as soon as I set eyes on it. Purchased along side a new supply of soft grip pegs (highly recommend) I was quite excited at being a bit more organised with my washing. I love the cat bag and it brings a smile to my face but I think I'll find another use for it. It doesn't hold as many pegs as I want it too - I've put the 40 new soft grip pegs in it and it gapes open. The brown strap isn't long enough really to sit over your head and if it sits on your shoulder, it feels like its going to fall off. A shame

Very cute look but... The strap is too short, it only just fits across my body, but is too tight for my husband to use. The bag is far too small for the no of pegs I need (less than one load) There is no way of securing the pegs as it has no velcro, tie or button to hold shut the opening, pegs everywhere!! Quite surprised this was released for selling as it's not a complex item, but fails on all features apart from looks!

I bought one of these in store yesterday to replace a bag that has lasted 20 years. The design of this bag is lovely, but it could be improved in two ways: 1) using a sturdier fabric, 2) sealing either end of the pocket, so that it doesn't gape. I have oversewn both ends to about 5cm at each side and it's much better and holds more pegs.

There was not an option to leave a 'no stars' review but I would have if it had been possible. The peg bag looks so pretty in the book but it is not actually fit for purpose. As soon as you put in just a handful of pegs the front gaps open and they fall out. The space above the slit is not used at all and this is a shame. I have used Lakeland for many years and only rarely has there been a product that just doesn't work ... this is the one .... sorry Lakeland. However, I will be back as my friends and I love your products.
