Made from special lightweight plastic, it fits easily on to just about any table or hard surface. It also has a thermos-reflect cover, which reflects the heat and steam from the iron rather than letting it escape, helping you get your ironing done more quickly.
With its shoulder-fit shape, this ironing board is designed to help you get shirts done quickly, while soft feet on the bottom of the board mean it sits securely on any hard surface. I use this in my sewing room and recently bought the replacement cover from Lakeland, a lot better than the old cover that was supplied with the original Leifheit table top board. It saves on space, I just store it under my table or you can just prop up and know that if it does fall over there wont be a mighty crash. For a small household and small space it is perfect
I bought this for my sewing room and to do the odd light ironing. The size is just right but if you iron anything away from the middle it tips sideways. My husband has glued two blocks of wood underneath and screwed stabiliser outrigger legs to these. It is now fine, but if I had known it would tip I would not have bought it.

The board looks good, it's small and light & should be perfect for the odd spot of light ironing. but as other reviewers have said, it's very unstable. Even ironing small hankies, it tips from side to side. Maybe it would be OK if only using a small travel iron, but sadly it's not suitable when using a full size one.

I thought this would save me getting out my full size ironing table. It might be ok for craft projects but for ironing even T shirts I find it too lightweight and very unstable. Over priced and very disappointing.
