We were astounded by the weight of these ironing boards. Much lighter than most, Leifheit’s new boards are made from super-lightweight, heatproof plastic making it a pleasure to begin on the laundry mountain and there’s a size to suit every household. A super-lightweight, standard-sized ironing board with a thermo-reflect cotton and titanium cover that reflects heat back at your ironing, speeding up the whole process and saving on energy too. Legs lock tightly for storage.
Height adjusts from 85 to 98cm (33½” to 38¾”). Surface 120 x 38cm (47¼” x 15”). 4kg.

This ironing board is fantastic, it makes ironing much easier with it’s reflective cover as clothes only need ironing on one side. Brilliant as a mum in a busy family. Its thick pad means its more comfortable under the iron. It is very sturdy, with no wobble at all. Being a tall person, i like the height adjustment option. It’s incredibly light weight to carry, put up and store away.
It is nice and light but this makes it a little unstable. It does not have a clip to hold the legs to the board when folded so this can make it a bit awkward to carry. Although it may be quite good to use even at the reduced price of £64.99 it is overpriced when similar, but heavier boards can be had for £20 to £30.

This ironing board is so light it is inclined to topple over., and its not so easy to dismantle. What a pity, I was so looking forward to receiving it. I would have sent it back, except my husband got rid of the box.
