The grease had really built up on the storage rack and its parts. I tried steam and bleach cleaning. I tried soap pads and elbow grease but nothing went anywhere near it. I had to carefully bodge because the main rack was too long for the bag but the results are fantastic. I will definitely buy this and the other Oven Mate products again in the future.
Put oven racks in the bag provided with the cleaning stuff for a few hours. Kept turning bag over and shaking stuff around to make sure racks were covered. Took them out and gave them a wash and they are like new - sparkling and clean. When combined with the oven cleaning gel, it’s never taken me so little time to clean an oven. Amazing!
I’ve used this cleaner for quite a few years and it never disappoints. Does exactly what it says and cleans the dirtiest racks.
Have used for many years and various oven racks and always good results
Put racks in the bag (I put three shelves and side runners for oven and top oven) I swirl the gel around a bit so everything is coated with gel. Leave it overnight and just rinse it off in the morning. Really good product. Some have said it's hard to gauge half the gel in the bottle. I take the top off and weigh bottle and contents. I then deduct 250g and with that weight in mind I take out the gel until I have that weight. Bit of a faff but quick to do and worth it to get half.
