Unlike other reviewers, I have found these non slip hangers brilliant. I have quite a lot of tops & dresses with wide necklines which constantly slide off normal hangers. These are great. In fact I'm about to purchase more.
I too am puzzled by the reviews where people have had hangers break on them, as I've bought A LOT of them now over the last year to replace my crummy plastic ones I get from shops and they are great, not a single one has broken, I'm just ordering some more so hope I'm not tempting fate by saying this! Maybe my fellow reviewers got a bad batch?
I don't understand the bad reviews - perhaps people are over-loading them ??? I have hung everything on them from skimpy tops to my mink jacket and not one has broken. It is a wonderful product and very reasonably priced too. I am going to order another batch and gradually replace all my old hangers.
I bought these for cardigans & coats mainly, as the padded hangers take up so much space. I am finding them ideal, clothes do not slip off so I can cut off all those annoying ribbons. I was surprised to read the other reviews which said about them breaking, so here's hoping mine do not, it has only been a day or two, so we shall see.
These hangers are strong enough for most clothes but I probably wouldn't use them for coats or any heavy items. Clothes don't slip off and they are slim enough to create extra space in your wardrobe (unless you put bulky items on them of course!). I have been using several of these for a while now and none of them have broken and they hold my clothes beautifully.
