This touch-free bin opens automatically when it senses a movement above the lid and once opened, the multi-sense technology cleverly expands the sensor field so it can tell if you need the lid to stay open for longer! But, if you feel it’s been open too long, the mechanism will disengage if you wish to push it closed. Inside there is a robust bucket making bin emptying simple with its ‘bucket park’ which means you don’t have to lift the bucket out all the way to remove the bag and a natural charcoal filter is integrated into the lid to keep smells at bay. A fingerprint-proof finish resists smudges to keep the stainless steel shiny for longer and the robust internal hinge combined with nylon slider pads under the base ensure you can slide it right up to a wall or unit, keeping it neatly to hand.
The battery compartment is easily accessible at the back of the bin. Requires 6 x C batteries which will last up to one year. 40 litre.
