Easy-Open
For those who find a pedal annoying or difficult, the easy-open touch bar can be tapped from any angle, with your hip, knee, fingers or elbow to flip the lid which will then stay open until you are ready to close it.
Space-Efficient
Inside the bin there is a robust bucket making bin emptying simple with its ‘bucket park’ which means you don’t have to lift the bucket out all the way to remove the bag and the lid lifts off easily when that time arrives. Space-efficient hinges combined with nylon slider pads under the base ensure you can slide it right up to a wall or unit, keeping it neatly to hand.

My first thought was it was expensive for a bin, but it lives up to all I had read. It is well made, a good capacity and easy to empty as it doesn’t move and no fingerprints. I have no hesitation in recommending the Simplehuman bin to anyone.
You wouldn't think a new bin could make such a difference to life! This truly has. It's not huge so doesn't dominate the kitchen but equally it holds an amazing amount. The liners are superb. The design features make a real difference. The spring opening that you can lean on to open when you have your hands full, the way the inner bin perches on a ledge whilst emptying/changing the liner, everything about it has been so well designed. Yes, it's expensive but really so worth it. It is a bin for life!
Elegantly designed, the touchbar means minimal contact and no pulling or pushing when trying to empty the bin. Quite an expensive product but well worht it. I wish I have bought one years ago instead of an endless cycle of cheaper pedal bins that do not last.
Was recommended by a friend and boy I wish I had invested in this product years ago! So much easier to empty and replace bags! Designed so you cannot overload the bag and struggle to get it out. Opens at a touch, stays open till you close it. Elegantly designed. It’s a bit more expensive than the average bin of the same size but DEFINITELY worth it!
The shape and size are suitable for my needs. The bin is very well designed for cleanliness and has made a good addition to my kitchen.
