In the catalogue it says this 'Hangs on a washing line too' but the packaging says it shouldn't be hung on a washing line...which is rather a shame as that's precisely why I bought it!

Thanks for the review and taking the time to speak to me on the phone. The airer can be used outside on a washing line, however we would recommend bringing inside after use. If it's left outside in the elements, rain/sunlight it will effect the pegs.

Your review re not hanging it on a washing line was exactly the question/point I was going to make! I have just bought one today for the purpose of using it on the washing line and then noticed the "Warnings" about not using it on a clothes line, despite the front of the package saying it can hang from a washing line! I'm not sure what the difference between a "washing" line and a "clothes" line is! However, having unpacked it and attempted to hang it on the line, it won't stay there very long if there is any breath of wind as there isn't a mechanism to fasten it
