36 Peg Laundry Airer

Although I have only recently received this airer, I am impressed with it. It seems to be strong and the pegs grip well, but only use will tell if it stands the test of time.

I use this for socks and undies. It hooks on my line a treat and is somuch quicker to bring indoors if there is a sudden downpour. Much easier than unpegging off the line .

This is a very well designed airer with one major flaw. The pegs are attached to the frame with plastic clips - all of which broke. I think perhaps this is down to sunlight causing degradation of the plastic clips or stress from being folded and unfolded each use. However I’ve now mended each peg with a piece of face mask elastic and it works like a dream again. Perhaps the manufacturer needs to consider an alternative material for the peg clips.

This very handy dryer saves using all the space on the rotary or clothes airers for socks, bras etc. . Particularly well designed as the arm holds it away from the door if you want to hook it over. I have to add, as a further review, that I wished the pegs were stronger. My last peg airer had the standard Lakeland sturdy pegs, and they were better. I am still pleased with the item!

I can fill this up indoors and stick it on the line or bring it in to air things off
