UGO Travel Tubes 3 Pk

I bought these as a replacement for another type of travel shampoo holder as they looked sturdy and had a decent capacity. sadly the first one i used leaked - I thought that this was due to it being under pressure in the baggage hold and threw it away. the second one was duly used and only put in the cabin bag - same thing happened - really annoying as it managed to cover my toothbrush in shampoo - another thing to replace ! (Have you ever tried to get a toothbrush clean of shampoo - yuck)

My husband has just returned from a trip to India. He bought 2 packs of the ugo tubes to decant his shower gel, shampoo, face wash, etc into. As others have found, these cute bottles pop open and leak when pressure is applied. Either in the aircraft hold or a tightly packed hand luggage bag. Luckily, he also had put them in a plastic bag so that the damage was contained, although very messy and wasteful. I'm afraid these little bottles won't be going on any more journeys!!

I have just used my set of three Ugo bottles for the first time. Disaster! All three bottles leaked and spread most of their contents over the inside of my sponge bag. I thought that I might have got a faulty batch, but on reading the reviews, it would seem that other people have had a similar experience. Shame, the idea of squeezy bottles is a good one, but the design fault makes them unusable.

Sorry, Lakeland but these travel tubes are hopeless. I bought them from one of your shops so did not read the reviews before buying. They look lovely and hold just the right amount of shower gel, shampoo, liquid soap etc for a holiday but all three leak and you end up with the liquids right through your toilet bag. I notice they have now been reduced so assume that Lakeland will no longer be selling them.

These look great & seemed like a great idea, but unfortunately they leak everywhere so I've had to stop using them - such a shame.
