These bags were purchased to store winter duvets and bed sheets in a limited space on top of a wardrobe. They have proved to be perfect for the job, compressing bulky items into flat manageable packages. Highly recommended.
I was really made up with these bags, a little dearer but with a good guarantee you just can not lose. I used them for my sleeping bags and duvets packed away with the comfort in knowing they will be kept this way until we need them again. These are the only vacuum storage bags I have found with the added anti mould feature. It is nice to know that my bedding will now be packed and protected.
I bought cheaper versions of these from Amazon for duvets etc for moving house, they failed within a day! These ones from Lakeland are brilliant so much better I have packed all my duvets and quilts in them and they have stayed flat now for two weeks so far, no problem I have ordered more. I would say that for the few previous people who say they have failed, I would think they hadn't sealed them properly or overfilled them, I would recommend these!
I bought this product to store duvets and pillows. One bag worked well but the other stayed flat for an hour. I tried again and realised that I hadn't closed the zip lock fully. Once I had corrected the problem the bag worked as it should. I am very happy and will be buying more.
These are brilliant I have some that I have put extra duvets in and put them in the loft, they have stayed sealed and don't take up so much room, thank you Lakeland you have done it again with a fantastic product.
