Joseph Joseph Easy Tear Kitchen Roll Holder Grey

Very well made, holds kitchen roll very firm, sometimes have to use both hands to tear off sheets.

I purchased this in a store last year when I had my kitchen refitted purely for cosmetic reasons. This replaced my Lakeland easy tear which was great. It looks good but my husband constantly complains about it and says I should never have changed it. I have to say I have also been disappointed. It doesn't tear sheets easily and constantly moves. I have even bought pads for underneath to see if that would help. Today I have decided it needs to go and will be ordering the Lakeland easy tear once again much to the delight of my husband.

I don't know whether I just can't get the hang of using this, but it certainly doesn't work for me.Not only does it not work as advertised, but the paper towels themselves rise and unravel when trying to use as advertised. Will be going back to my old one which was purchased from Lakeland (their own product) several years ago. I just wish I hadn't decided I'd like a change.

Have always been very happy with Joseph Joseph products that I have purchased in the passed but unfortunately this product is a big let down. It's very sturdy, looks great and certainly easy to tear off sheets however after every tear off the roll ravels upwards therefore you have to take the roll out, even it out and replace it in the holder which is a major hassle as I go through a lot of kitchen roll each day so have to go through the sorting of it time and time again. Very disappointed indeed and this must have been obvious to them when testing their product out.

I bought this in green and it looked wonderful. However, it does not work one-handed. I tried putting the roll in first one way and then the other, but I still had to use both hands. The spring is far too strong.
