I chose this over the other loo roll holders because it looked sturdy and looked as though it wouldnt scratch my new gloss tiled floor. It is extremely sturdy and heavy. The round base has a covering that stips it scraping on the tiles and it sits level and doesn't wobble. It is extremely simple to move rolls up and down the shaft and hopefully even hubby will manage this. I have high expectations regarding the longevity as it certainly is one of the more pricey holders out there but in this instance I think you are getting what you pay for

This loo roll holder and dispenser is not the cheapest on the market, but i think its great, and i have one in each loo. It holds the extra loo roll on the very study base; it dispenses the roll in use easily; I can get my kids to replace the finished roll because its so easy; and in my guest loo it saves my guests from looking around for a replacement. a win win - very pleased.
