J-Pillow is designed by a former air stewardess who used her observations of airline passengers as well as her own longing for a window seat when travelling as the inspiration for her creation. She also talked to orthopaedic doctors for advice and feedback, so it’s no surprise that she won the Best British Invention award on the J-Pillow’s launch in 2012-13.
Comfort for long journeys
Packed with a soft 3D polyester stuffing to ensure the ultimate comfort, and clad in plush velvety fabric, the airplane-friendly J-Pillow is a 7-in-1 cushion that may well make you the envy of everyone else on the flight. With a range of suggested positions, it can provide head support, cushion your neck from the front or back, act as a lumbar support cushion or even lift your tablet, smartphone or book up so you can read in more comfort.
Unique shape
Unlike other travel pillows, it has a curved chin rest that curls under your jawline to lift your chin and support your head so there’s far less chance of getting a stiff neck, ‘catching flies’ or that embarrassing scenario of sliding onto the shoulder of a total stranger while you snooze – and it eliminates the risk of nodding forward and waking with a jolt that jars your neck. It even works if you’re sitting in a low-backed chair like the ones at airport gates.
Easy to pack
A clever companion indeed, J-Pillow has a strong press-stud loop so you can attach the cushion to your hand baggage or carry-on luggage, and it’s soft enough to be scrunched into a pocket so your hands are free to juggle with tickets and sample the goodies on offer in Duty Free.
Machine washable
The luxurious covering of this comfortable pillow is made from durable 100% polyester plush, and the soft stuffing is also polyester, so it’s washable at 40°C and can even be tumble dried.

I brought one of these two years ago they are great for travelling to South Africa on two flights makes such a difference. I also use it at home when my neck is painful to help me sleep I now in the process for buying another on for my son to use at home as he has a bad neck and was using my one when I visited him in april this year in south Africa
Have purchased many different variations of travel pillows in the past without much success....until this one! The design is so well thought about.. it’s not to hard or soft, just perfect.. I will definitely purchase another as we all wanted to use it on a long journey to Devon! And has a useful clip to enable you to clip it on your luggage if travelling abroad.. It’s also useful when at home too.. it was a great buy...

excellent value for money,the most comfortable travel aid I have ever used.
I was really unsure about spending this amount of money when the reviews were so mixed... but took a risk ahead of my first flight to the US. I needn't have worried - it offered great comfort, allowing sleep and rest without neck and back ache - and worked even in the middle seat. It was so much better than the little pillows provided by the airline. It fixed securely to my bag when not in use and an elastic band meant it didn't look too strange! I'd say it was worth every penny.
