"Not what I expected"

A few years ago I bought a pack of 'wonder cloths' which I haven't found again since. I thought these were the same but they are not the same at all - they are too thick and once washed have a pile which picks up crumbs etc but are hard to wash out. I wanted a nice smooth cloth which rinses clean. These cloths are like using a wooly jumper to clean! Good to absorb a spill but not for general kitchen cleaning!
