After my mother in law got caught out with a power cut I went straight to the lakeland catalogues and saw this. Bit smaller than I thought it would be, but it is great. Ordered two so I have one on my landing as well. Perfect. What would I do without Lakeland.
This is a brilliant idea, particularly if you live in the country with no ambient light at night-time. The double bonus is that, if there is a power-cut, the torch shines brightly and it can also be used independently as a torch at any time. We have bought several as much-appreciated gifts for friends. The only downside is that our first one only lasted just under 2 years before the torch or charger failed. This may be a one-off, rather than a general defect - time will tell.
Like another reviewer our charger has failed on the nightlight after less than a year. Other than that I think it's a brilliant product and the small size is a bonus!
