I bought one of these and was quite dubious if it would work. We live in Portugal and I hung it in the wardrobe as the clothing does sometimes feel damp. After one month checked the crystals had to recharge, have not looked back, it's is great. I am in fact ordering more for myself and also for friends I have recommended the product to.
Used them in my gun cabinet. I have used different makes , none work as well. Easy to see when full and easy to recharge. Sometimes takes more than one cycle to dry out.
I purchased these on impulse. As autumn draws in I need a better solution than the chemical system I used last year. These are great. Effective. Safe. Easy to recharge in the microwave (7 minutes for the largest version).
This is in our sometimes humid porch which is 3 walls of windows and bare red brick. It needs to be charged maybe every 2-3 weeks or so but it has certainly significantly reduced the condensation on the windows in the colder weather. I ruined one by being silly and not paying attention to the instructions so microwaved it window side down. Nobody to blame but myself when it stuck to the plate and created a hole when I tried to take it off. The replacement works just as well as the original one.
Bought one as I've just moved into a flat with a damp laundry room/cupboard. It worked really well and I no longer have a smelly cupboard! It did take three or four goes in the microwave to recharge, but it's worth it! Have bought more for the larder, kitchen and shower room!
