Bought this product and it looks so good on the kitchen worktop. Simple to clean, I line it with brown packaging paper and empty it at least twice a week. Really good item
Pleased on delivery but Rust started appearing after 3 months on inside of lid and the rust is spreading, so unfortunately not suitable for its purpose. Very disappointed as looks good on the kitchen worktop. 2* for appearance only.

I bought this bin as I thought it looked lovely, was a good size and being metal it would be easy to keep clean. The filter in the lid was better than the last bin I had. However the metal lid has gone rusty and I now need to buy another one. Therefore I can't give it a good rating.
Like the other reviewers, I've found that my bin has rusted inside the lid within months. The base has also scratched even though it's just been on my kitchen work surface. It's a shame because it does look nice.

I chose this compost bin because it is smart-looking and has a carbon filter. After three month's use it is rusting around the lid. Despite what it says on the tin, it's not suitable for composting! Sorry, Lakeland - it really isn't.
