"Useful but not perfect"

star star star star_border star_border

I like the look of these - suit my decor and don't get grubby. I have them along the base of balcony doors. They have done a fair job of absorbing the torrential driving rain that has been seeping in. There is a little water on the wooden frame under them, but the laminate floor has remained dry. There's more rain to come - the puzzle is how to dry them quickly for the next lot?

Thanks for the review and taking the time to speak to me on the phone. It recommends air drying but once you the majority of the water has evaporated you could finish them off on a radiator or in an airing cupboard to speed the process up.

"Not happy!"

I bought two of these hoping it would help with condensation on my windows but I was dissappointed with both of them as they did not do the job they were made for.

We're sorry to hear the condensation catchers have not met your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to discuss this with us today.

"Not working for me"

star star_border star_border star_border star_border

I bought these to soak up water leaking through my leaded windows whenever it rains heavily. They had their first proper test yesterday, and failed dismally. They didn't seem to soak up the water at all - a small amount sat on top of the 'catcher' (not soaking in from above), and I found a pool of water underneath the catcher (not soaking in from below). Very disappointing. I think the catcher is too light and, as a result, it doesn't sit flat on (/make good contact with) the windowsill. It's also curved along its length. So it's easy for water to get underneath it.

Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry that the catcher hasn't worked for you, but feel you may have expected too much absorbency from the item. It is designed for condensation and not for a persistent leak problem. We'll be in touch shortly to help.

"not working for me"

This was quite a disappointment. Well what I find is that the catcher is dry and the water is collecting around and under it. It doesnot seem to soak it up unless I use it as a mop !

"visibly inefficient"

I have ahd similar problems to the other reviewers.. these seem to stay dry while the condensation pools around them. Also, why the dark blue? How many people have window sills that colour? A more discreet white would be better..... especially if they worked.
