If you’ve got a mêlée of batteries loitering in a drawer and you’re not sure if there’s power remaining, the tester in the lid of BatRecycle will give you a quick answer – just pop an AA, AAA, C or D battery into its slot, press the relevant button, and the LED scale will light up to indicate how much voltage is left. If the indicator shows red, simply pop the battery into the storage box until you can recycle them safely.
Holds up to 2kg of spent batteries.

Finally sorted out the mounds of stray batteries hanging around the house! Found the product very simple to use and batteries fitted in the testers easily. I now know which batteries are to be recycled and which can be reused so this is saving me money on buying pack after pack of new batteries. Was a bit put off by previous review but needn't have been - I found this a very worthwhile purchase!
Great gadget. I had saved all my expired batteries for recycling and decided to have a little check as to there capacity. I was very surprised that some were nearly full although not powerful enough for there initial use they could be reused for less powerful items. Some Batteries are a close fit but if you insert at the 'springy' end first that seems to help.
Battery tester arrived today. Idea excellent, but it was very difficult to fit most of the batteries in the tester part, some were o.k but most needed a lot of force, some wouldn't fit at all,and was afraid it would break the tester. Really good idea but needs some adjusting, . Will be returning it;
