"so easy" star star star star star We have just started using these, such a brilliant idea. It is so easy to use and burn time good. Now wanting junk mail.
"Ingenious and amazing!" star star star star star I saw this product in the latest catalogue, was very sceptical - but it is cheap, and something totally new to us so we bought it. It's almost worth buying for the packaging alone, but the LogSaver also works, astonishingly well. The makers say 'burns for one and a quarter hours', but last night it was still glowing well after that time.Unfortunately we bought it on the day the recycling was collected!
"Log savers" star star star star star This review is for an older version of this product What a fantastic product, saw in latest catalogue bought 1 pack and will be going back for another we no longer have papers lying around for recycling they go up the chimney. If you burn wood etc buy this and you will save rather a lot of pennies
"Logsaver" star star star star star This is the product that will change your mind about junk mail. We had a log burner installed this year so I bought the Logsaver from Lakeland as it looked like a great way to be able to burn paper. It's fantastic. I look forward to all that junk mail coming through my door. Roll it up tight, put it in the Logsaver and on to the fire. 1 tip, when you put it into the fire, make sure the loop part is forwards. It makes it easier to take out if the fire is still burning. It will be very hot so place it somewhere safe, then you can use the second Logsaver to put another paper log on the fire.
"Brilliant Idea" star star star star star An unequivocal 5 stars! I bought 2 &gave my daughter one. We both love them. I agree that paper creates a lot of fine ash but it clearly says use 1 paper to 2 wood logs. I tend to avoid rolling it too tight & it burns well. A brilliant answer to those of us who work from home. I have hardly used my shredder since I got the Log Saver. It has cut down on the dust in the office - so, another big bonus! When they are very hot, they get quite malleable so one has to be careful, or you'll have a very tiny log next time - but ours has survived over 2 years of nightly open fires!
