"A chore has been turned into a joy" star star star star star I never thought I'd ever say this in my life, but this steam mop has turned the dreaded chore of mopping my hardfloors into quite a bit of fun! It goes into corners with ease, whizzes along hardwood, laminate, floor tiles and granite flooring, and leaves everything shiny and clean. It also cleaned up the high gloss white tiles in my bathroom as if it were nothing, using the handheld accessory. I recommended this mop to my mum, who is super-clean, but I am confident the Shark will meet her high standards. I don't need a cleaner anymore, I have the Shark!
"Stop start stop start..." star star star_border star_border star_border After reading all the reviews I really thought I'd found it. I am so frustrated with this steamer, I've used it 4 times and it still isn't getting any better, the steam starts well then suddenly fades and I have to wait for it to heat up again. It doesn't get into corners or the edges, I then have to be on my hands and knees cleaning the floor with a cloth. I thought this steamer would solve my floor problems with one simple machine. I'm going to have to keep this steamer as I got rid of my old (much cheaper) handheld steamer thinking this would be easier on my back. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
"Lakeland at it's best....." star star star star star Brilliantly efficient machine, and Lakeland price matched, with no hassle at all. It seems sturdy, and well built. The steam is powerful enough for stuck on grease and grime on cookers, and gentle enough for paintwork on walls.(Varying amounts of steam) Even in scrub mode the floors quickly dried. I am very impressed. Thank you Lakeland, for making my life a little easier!
"Poor Steam Supply / Sorted" star star star star star Sorry you rejected my initial review which did have a problem with the steam flow and i meant to come back and alter the review as after your contact i phoned the manufacter it turned out i was using filtered water which should have filtered out the scale . I then changed to bottled water for irons and after descaling the steamer has been superb ever since i think that was 5 years ago.
"MY SHARK AND I" star star star star star_border I have had this steamer for about a year to replace one that didn't produce much steam. I have stone tiles that are not smooth{not my choice} and found that it didn't clean as well as I wanted it to. I now put a small amount of concentrated well know liquid cleaner on the floor and it does the job very well. I also use a very cheap bottle of spring water from the supermarket and that seems to work better than just the steam. I agree that more steam would be beneficial, to make it flow more evenly. Ii always wash the pads on their own on 40deg and they still fit very well.
