Limey Standard Tap Head Cleaner

I bought one of these Limey tap descalers a couple of weeks ago. We live in a hard water area so thought this would be good for my kitchen tap. Alas, it stayed put for a while whilst descaling but as it was wet inside with limescale remover, it kept slipping off. A waste of money in my opinion. Cannot recommend this.

Just bought this and the Limey descaler. Of the three taps I have so far tried, it would not fit over one head and in the other two cases it was not at all successful. Will perhaps try again with vinegar as suggested by another user.

I use it with white vinegar- works a treat!

Easy to use and store due to clever design that incorporates the Limey with the bottle. Used overnight on our kitchen tap and worked a treat.

I normally avoid gadgets but this one sounded promising. It probably works brilliantly if you have the tap that it was designed for - but it doesn't fit on any of our taps, bath, sink or basin. Managed to squeeze it onto a basin tap but because of its solid colour you can't see whether the tap head is in contact with the liquid. A clear plastic bag and a clothes peg works a lot better and you can see where the liquid is and whether it is fizzing and clearing the limescale. Sadly a complete waste of money.
