Reversible Quick-Fit Cover - Stripe

I cannot say enough good about this cover - it took me less than 30 SECONDS to fit correctly! I previously had a Lakeland cover with drawstring and velcro straps (excellent quality as always with Lakeland). However, after 30 MINUTES of struggling to fit it onto the board, I rang my local store in desperation to see what I was doing wrong. I also rang Windermere, who very kindly noted all my comments, and said they would pass them on. This was only a few months ago, and I do not think they have changed their fitting just for me! However, this new fitting is PERFECT. THANK YOU LAKELAND!

At last an ironing board cover that has been made properly designed and with no fiddly ineffectual draw strings but proper fasteners - and fits perfectly (provided you have the right size board which I have). Why did it take so long for someone to produce one? Must have been designed by a woman.

This is a very good, well fitting ironing board cover. It was incredibly easy to fit, and the underlay is thick enough to offer adequate padding, and it stays put during ironing. My only slight (very slight!) gripe is that the non-slip fasteners are positioned so tath one of the two sits right where the ironing board opens and closes, and I found that it stopped me putting the board up, so I have to unfasten the fastener, then reattach it after the ironing board is up. My solution? Leave it undone and buy the Lakeland Ironing Board Clip Covers of course!

This ironing board cover is made to fit the exact width and length so may not suit all boards, but it fits mine. It is elasticated rather than having a cord to pull to get it to fit. Nicely padded, but I always use extra padding anyway. The luggage-style straps are great (I have tied other covers underneath with string before now!). Slight niggle in that one of them needs to be undone to get the board to close, but a small price to pay. Dare I say it, it's almost a pleasure to iron!

I was a bit doubtful as to whether this would be suitable for my largish board. However, by removing the old supplementary padding, I was j-u-s-t able to get the cover over the pointy end. So if (like mine) your board is at the maximum end of the suitable measurements, you will need to take this pronounced narrowing into consideration. Given the right shaped board, it's a great ironing cover and I'm so glad I could get it to fit.
